The largest in-land regatta in the US, the race corresponds to a three-day festival in downtown consisting of variety of free concerts, food vendors, aerial competitions, various water sports, dragon boat races, and the July Fourth fireworks display.

The Cathedral of Learning is the 2nd largest gothic-style building in the world and houses classrooms, administrative offices, and the famous "Nationality Rooms," designed to celebrate different cultures from around the world.

Mount Washington is known for its panoramic city views and home to upscale seafood and Italian restaurants. The Monongahela and Duquesne Inclines are funiculars that climb the hill to lookouts like Grandview Overlook.
